Thanks to cable cars and e-bikes, you can bike along the high ridgeline of the Silvretta and descend more than 2,000 metres back to the Trofana Royal. Here, perfect infrastructure meets a passion for biking. After all, junior boss Alexander von der Thannen is himself an enthusiastic mountain biker and will be happy to provide you with tips and information.
The sheer numbers alone are enough to entice bikers eager for adventure: 37 tours at all levels of difficulty, from classic mountain-biking tours to enduro tours for allrounders and big mountain tours for ambitious experts. Enjoy a total of 752 km signposted trails! Forest paths and single trails are also available. From cable car tours to ‘vertriding,’ push the limits of your passion!
The Silvretta high-Alpine road has all the makings of an ultimate road bike course including well-maintained asphalt, which winds its way up in switchbacks over several levels of altitude. The course is sometimes steep, sometimes flat, but always boasts breathtaking mountain scenery. Further challenges are the 148 km Arlbergrunde circuit, the Hahntennjoch mountain with the Flexen Pass, or the detour into the Kaunertal valley and over the Pillerhöhe Pass.
The Ischgl mountain-biking arena is one of the highest e-bike destinations in Europe. Luckily, you can access this high-Alpine environment with dramatic panoramic views without draining your own personal battery. The in-house e-bike rental service furnishes high-performance equipment. The latest models from BH Bikes will take transport you to the surrounding huts, cross-border circuits or more leisurely excursions in the valley.
To the tours
Where does one meet the
owner of the establishment?
No competition: The Fimberpass Trail. This tour extends from Engadine via Samnaun and back to Ischgl. From the 2,608-metre-high Fimberpass, this nature trail winds through a surreal-looking high Alpine world. Stone passages, boulders and roots demand full concentration, which is a total adrenalin rush!
The Verwallrunde circuit trail. This trail first leads up to Galtür, then via the Zeinisjoch to the Heilbronner mountain hut. It continues through the Schönverwall area to the Stanzertal valley toward Strengen and over Glit/Langesthei back to Ischgl. All in all, the route is approx. 100 kilometres long! Those who make manage the journey have ample reason to be proud!
