“Sandli” water playground
Splash around and relax at the Sandli water playground on the hiking trail circuit near the village.
Adventure Trail
The Forest & Lakeside Adventure Trail at the Schwarzwassersee and Pardatschersee lakes brings out the best in young adventurers.
“Vider Truja” Theme Park
The Vider Truja adventure park at the Vidersee lake above Ischgl at 2,320m above sea level promises relaxation for all generations. After a journey with the Silvrettaseilbahn cable car up to the Idalp, it is just a few steps to the water playground and adventure path centred around the theme of water.
“Sunny Mountain” Adventure Park
Another popular destination is the Sunny Mountain Adventure Park in Kappl, which centres around the mountain lake at 1,830 m. Fun is guaranteed thanks to the playground with slide tower, petting zoo, Kneipp facility and much more.
Water fun
The highlight of an Ischgl summer holiday with children is and remains swimming: Great options include the Royal Spa Pools at the Trofana Royal or in the Waldbad with its 47 m long water slide. Especially on hot days, the Pardatscher See and Schwarzwassersee mountain lakes will tempt you to plunge into the cooling waters.
Childcare at the hotel
When the weather is a buzzkill (or when parents just want to go off on their own for once), little royals profit from a “Plan B” in the Kids Club that for them is more like “Plan A!” The large play area with active and creative offers keeps everyone on their toes. Trained carers make sure that every single child feels completely comfortable.
Action programme
The tourism association’s weekly programme with the Kids Club for younger guests and the Youth Club Paznaun for teenagers from 11 to 16 also offer plenty of adventure. Teenagers in particular don not mind some space away from their parents. They enjoy a good adrenaline kick whilst climbing or rafting but also the opportunity to make cool new friends.

Little kids come up big
Numerous walking tours and easy hikes start directly in front of the Trofana Royal. With the aid of the cable car, even young children can explore the lofty heights of the Silvretta. The Idalp adventure-hiking trail from Ischgl to the Idalp provides perfect motivation. This special trail boasts two 100-m long and 70 m high suspension bridges over the Fimba stream and includes the “Walk of Lyrics.”
Tip: You can also start at the middle station and hike down to Ischgl.
